Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong experience in manual testing, Playwright automation, and Agile practices. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute test strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.

  • Develop end-to-end test automation scripts using Playwright.

  • Create, maintain, and optimize test plans, test cases, and test data.

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and scrum teams in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

  • Identify defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolutions.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD test automation pipelines (nice to have).

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to test automation best practices.

  • Provide clear test metrics and reports to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3 6 years of experience as SDET / QA Automation Engineer.

  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies.

  • Hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python).

  • Understanding of browser automation, selectors, API testing, and test frameworks.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

  • Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
