Job Details:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. You will apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team, working on high-impact, innovative projects that are transforming the engineering industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems from inception to production.
  • Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create detailed 3D designs and technical drawings.
  • Apply principles of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Machine Designing to optimize production efficiency.
  • Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
  • Design and troubleshoot electrical wiring systems, Allen Bradley PLC, and other electrical controls.
  • Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water, and steam systems.
  • Conduct equipment troubleshooting and repair, with a focus on pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Work with FEA, 3D Printing, and valves.
  • Work with low-voltage systems and ensure their smooth integration with overall design.
  • Conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components, and systems.
  • Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • A thorough understanding of DFM and Machine Designing.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience with electrical wiring, Allen Bradley PLC, and other electrical controls.
  • Proven experience in equipment troubleshooting and repair.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Familiarity with low-voltage systems.
  • Experience with FEA and 3D Printing.
  • Familiarity with valves and their applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail, with an ability to deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
