Job Description:
- Lead the end to end migration of metadata, lineage, glossaries, and governance assets from Informatica Dto Atlan.
- Analyze existing Dconfigurations and design a target-state Atlan metadata model that aligns with governance and architectural standards.
- Configure, administer, and optimize the Atlan data catalog to support enterprise metadata and governance requirements.
- Recreate and enhance business glossaries, domains, and taxonomies within Atlan.
- Identify, define, and maintain Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and ensure accurate mapping during migration.
- Establish and maintain end to end data lineage across source systems, pipelines, warehouses, and BI assets in Atlan.
- Implement and manage metadata ingestion pipelines, including connectors, automated syncs, and custom ingestion logic.
- Define and enforce data classification frameworks and ensure consistent tagging of sensitive and regulated data.
- Configure RBAC, access policies, and governance workflows within Atlan.
- Develop custom scripts or automation (Python or similar) to handle metadata transformations, bulk updates, or migration gaps.
- Validate migrated metadata for completeness, accuracy, and consistency, ensuring alignment with governance standards.
- Document implementation patterns, migration procedures, and configuration standards for repeatability and auditability.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Architecture, BI teams, and Data Stewards to ensure accurate metadata representation.
- Coordinate with platform teams to ensure environment setup, connector readiness, and integration prerequisites are met.
- Support UAT cycles by resolving catalog related issues and ensuring successful migration sign off
