Description:

Our client has an immediate need for a User Experience Designer, who is responsible for working with project teams, designing and delivering high-quality client-centered, effective, consistent, and usable interface

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in a related field or experience in lieu of a degree
  • UX Bootcamp Design Certifications are a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Experience with Design Systems
  • Experience with Figma
  • Experience Managing Meetings & Presentations
  • Experience with Systems Thinking
  • Experience with UI Design, UX Design, and Design System
  • Individual Contributor Designer experience
  • Illustration Background is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Create and update documentation and visual guides for designing components and patterns
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive design specs to support handoff to development teams
  • Build, fix, and test reusable components in Figma
  • Design and test components for use in Angular applications, ensuring alignment with design guidelines and technical feasibility
  • Partner with content strategists and ADA accessibility experts to ensure compliance and inclusivity
  • Support the design community by answering help desk questions and facilitating open office hours
  • Participate in early design reviews with product designers to ensure alignment with system standards
  • Attend or facilitate design system design reviews and governance meetings
  • Research, audit, and prepare topics for design system governance and improvement
  • Coordinate and participate in working sessions across product teams to align on system usage and evolution
  • Conduct competitive analysis of other design systems to identify improvements and innovations
  • Contribute to special projects or design initiatives as requested by leadership or the design systems team
