Job Details

Requirements:
  • 8 or more years of experience in enterprise software architecture and project leadership.
  • Proficiency in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and system engineering concepts.
  • Experience with modernization efforts for eligibility and case management systems (ESSAM).
  • Experience in designing modernized IT systems for SNAP and TANF programs.
  • Experience with federal compliance requirements (APD, NIST, FISMA, or similar).
  • Experience in overseeing API modernization, UAT, and third-party vendor coordination.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and architecture of modernized IT systems for Economic Services.
  • Oversee technical planning, system integration, and the development lifecycle.
  • Provide technical leadership for project implementation, coordinating third-party vendors.
  • Ensure all development efforts comply with federal APD and security standards.
  • Lead team efforts to document new user stories, use cases, and system specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including federal partners (e.g., FNS).
  • Mentor developers and BAs, ensuring adherence to architectural standards.
