Role Overview

As an Implementation Specialist for the Autodesk Public Sector team, you will act as the technical lead for government agencies (GSA, USACE, DOTs) transitioning to Autodesk for Government (AFG). You will be responsible for configuring secure cloud environments, migrating legacy data, and ensuring that BIM workflows meet strict federal security standards (NIST 800-53).

Core Responsibilities

• Secure Environment Setup: Configure and deploy BIM Collaborate Pro and Autodesk Docs within the FedRAMP-authorized AWS GovCloud environment.
• Cloud Migration: Lead the migration of mission-critical engineering data from on-premise servers (e.g., Autodesk Vault) to authorized cloud environments.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure all project workflows, folder structures, and permission sets align with federal data handling requirements (CUI/ITAR).
• SSO & Integration: Partner with agency IT departments to integrate Autodesk environments with government Identity Providers (IdP) for secure access.
• Technical Advisory: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for AEC project teams, translating complex government security requirements into functional technical workflows.

Required Technical Qualifications

• Autodesk Stack: Advanced proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, and the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) platform.
• FedRAMP Knowledge: Deep understanding of the FedRAMP Moderate baseline and how it impacts cloud-based design collaboration.
• Security Standards: Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, FIPS 140-2, and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements.
• Implementation Experience: Minimum of 5 years in BIM/VDC management or technical consulting, specifically within the AEC industry.

Preferred Skills

• Current or prior Public Trust (NACI) or Secret Clearance.
• Experience working with Carahsoft or other federal technology aggregators.
• Scripting/Automation experience (Forge/Platform Services) to streamline data auditing.
