Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented contractor to join our team as a Web Production Marketing Manager. In this temporary role, you will oversee web production activities and take a hands-on role in producing engaging, high-quality website content and experiences. You will drive the roadmap for enhanced website functionality and operational efficiency. This hybrid role requires strong program management, content production skills, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver seamless website experiences and continuous process improvements.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Drive the roadmap for website features and functionalities that improve content management efficiency and overall site experience.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, IT, UX, and other stakeholders to align web content production with business goals and campaign narratives.
- Actively participate in the creation, editing, and publishing of website pages, digital assets, and microsites using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar enterprise CMS.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic oversight with tactical execution of website updates, content initiatives, and digital projects.
- Optimize workflows and implement best practices throughout the web production lifecycle to enhance productivity and content governance.
- Serve as a central point of contact for managing web requests, defining requirements, and setting expectations with internal teams and external vendors.
- Monitor website performance and user experience to inform continual improvements in content, functionality, and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute the end-to-end web production roadmap, ensuring prioritized website enhancements and content publishing improvements are delivered effectively.
- Plan and produce web content and experiences, including page builds, landing pages, experience fragments, and digital campaigns, maintaining brand consistency and accessibility standards.
- Lead content governance efforts including structured tagging, metadata management, and adherence to SEO and accessibility best practices.
- Collaborate with digital marketing and web performance teams to integrate campaign goals and KPIs into website content strategy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve web production challenges, escalating technical issues to IT or development teams as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation on production workflows, standards, and key project deliverables to ensure smooth knowledge transfer post-contract.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and successes to maintain alignment and confidence in web production efforts.
Experience Youll Need:
- 4-7 years managing websites using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or a similar enterprise CMS.
- Strong content production skills with experience building, editing, and publishing web pages and digital assets.
- Deep understanding of web production workflows, content governance, and operational best practices.
- Experience defining and executing roadmaps to improve web content efficiency, user experience, and site functionality.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, adept at juggling multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Collaborative and influential with experience working cross-functionally and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities focused on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders and maintaining clear, proactive dialogue.
Performance Metrics (Contractor Role):
- On-time delivery: Meet agreed-upon milestones and deadlines for website updates, feature implementations, and content production tasks.
- Quality of deliverables: Ensure web content and functionality comply with brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and technical requirements, with minimal defects or rework.
- Workflow improvements: Propose and implement optimizations that demonstrably enhance content production efficiency and site governance.
- Stakeholder satisfaction: Maintain high satisfaction ratings from internal teams and partners for communication and collaboration.
- Ramp-up speed: Rapidly learn platforms, teams, and priorities to deliver immediate value early in the contract.
- Documentation and knowledge transfer: Provide comprehensive records of processes, decisions, and deliverables to support smooth post-contract transition and ongoing site maintenance.
