Job Description:

Job Posting Title: Embedded Software Application Engineer
Description:
  • Develop and optimize algorithms for ADAS functionalities such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and traffic sign recognition.
  • Design and implement software components for real-time ADAS applications, ensuring robust performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate ADAS software with sensor systems (radar, lidar, cameras) and vehicle controllers.
  • Conduct simulation and testing of ADAS features using software tools and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups to validate performance under various conditions.
  • Analyze and interpret data collected from field tests and simulations to improve algorithm performance and reliability.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in ADAS technology to incorporate the latest innovations into our systems.
  • Document designs, specifications, and test results to maintain clear records and support regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and document electronics and/or electrical solutions including HW & SW. Develop functional & non-functional requirements in the area of ADAS & Passive safety.
  • Strong understanding of sensor technologies (radar, lidar, cameras) and their application in ADAS systems. Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and software development processes (AUTOSAR, ISO 26262).
  • Experience with model-based design tools for algorithm development and simulation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Interact with the internal development teams overseas & external supplier. Secure cross-functional and business anchoring.
