Job Overview:
Enterprise Mobility is a leading provider of mobility solutions, offering a wide range of transportation services, including car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, and more. This position is part of the Cloud Data Engineering Product Services team, where you will play a key role in creating workflows to ingest data into the Enterprise Data Lake. You will also provide Tier 1 support for Databricks workflows, Spark streaming applications, and Azure Function applications. This role involves collaboration with other engineers to develop new data pipelines and optimize data solutions using Microsoft Azure Cloud PaaS technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Create workflows to ingest data into the Enterprise Data Lake.
  • Provide Tier 1 support for Databricks workflows, Spark streaming applications, and Azure Function applications.
  • Participate in the initial triage of production products and support domain teams' development projects.
  • Identify and implement hardening and resiliency opportunities across the environment.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to develop scalable data pipelines and transformations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Azure Cloud PaaS technologies to optimize data solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship.
  • Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or the immediate surrounding area.
  • Ability to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
  • 3+ years of experience in full lifecycle development, end-to-end testing, and data validation.
  • Strong understanding of Apache Spark architecture, distributed computing, DataFrames, and Spark SQL.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, or Teradata.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Spark, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL.
  • Proficiency in writing scalable data pipelines and transformations using Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions and daily responsibilities.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience with Big Data solutions and NoSQL DBMSs.
  • Familiarity with ADLSg2 or other Blob Storage solutions.
  • Experience with change data capture (CDC) and incremental data processing (e.g., SCD type 1 / SCD type 2).
  • Experience with API development and support of Azure Functions.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or other public cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform technologies like Event Hubs, Data Factory, Delta Lake, Cosmos DB, or DevOps.
  • Prior experience with Enterprise IT Rental or Vehicle domain knowledge.
  • Experience leading large-scale projects.

Pay Range: $60 - $65
