Job Description:
Job Summary: The Test Lead for the SAP S/4 HANA Conversion Project is responsible for leading the testing efforts to ensure the successful conversion and implementation of SAP S/4 HANA. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing all testing activities, including functional, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing. The Test Lead will work closely with project stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to ensure that all testing requirements are met, and that the system meets the defined quality standards. Travel to Mexico sites may be needed for this position.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning and Strategy:

o Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy and plan for the SAP S/4 HANA conversion project.

o Define the scope, objectives, and approach for testing activities.

o Identify and document test cases, test scripts, and test data requirements.

o Test Execution and Coordination:

o Lead the execution of test cases and ensure that all testing activities are completed on time and within budget.

o Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and end-users, to ensure smooth execution of testing activities.

o Monitor and track testing progress, and report on test results and defects.

  • Defect Management:

o Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate defect management tools.

o Work with development teams to prioritize and resolve defects.

o Ensure that all defects are resolved and retested before the system goes live.

  • Stakeholder Communication:

o Communicate testing status, progress, and issues to project stakeholders and senior management.

o Provide regular updates on testing activities and highlight any risks or issues that may impact the project timeline.

  • Quality Assurance:

o Ensure that all testing activities adhere to established quality standards and best practices.

o Conduct reviews and audits of testing processes and deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
  • Strong experience with SAP S/4 HANA and SAP testing tools.
  • Excellent understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP certification in S/4 HANA.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
