RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's large retail client in San Francisco, CA is looking for strong Lead Product Manager with technical acumen and is experienced in digital merchandising automation.
Summary:
This role will work cross-functionally with other technical experts (i.e. data science, ML engineering, etc.) and needs to be able to speak that language. This Product Manager role is very hands on and will be in charge of managing the end-to-end flow for online outlet. The ideal candidate will have strong technical acumen and great communication skills. They need to be able to speak to their experience in: how they've grown their business, what was the size of their business and what did they do to grow it. This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a lean, entrepreneurial team tasked with reimagining outlet retail through automation and optimization. The ideal candidate combines product management expertise with strong analytical capability, technical fluency, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to solve operational challenges.
Duties:
* Drive the product roadmap, data strategy, and analytical execution for their growing multi-brand online outlet business
* Will be the connective force that transforms insights, technology, and operational needs into scalable, intelligent systems that power the outlet experience
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
* 6-8 years of experience in product management, preferably in digital commerce/merchandising, marketplace, or operations-heavy environments
* Strong technical fluency - ability to work with engineering, data science, and analytics to define requirements and evaluate solutions
* Experience with AI, automation, or optimization systems
* Able to understand workflows & understand how to utilize technology/automation to increase efficiency; AI tools experience is a plus
* Excellent communication skills - able to translate between technical and business audiences clearly and effectively
* Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable working in a lean environment with shifting priorities
* Strong operational instincts - capable of diving into logistics, data, etc.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
