DPP is seeking a Senior Developer for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.

Work arrangement:
- Partial onsite: 2-3 days onsite per week.
- W2 position; 12 months
- The Senior Developer will perform system management, user management, maintenance and support, and performance monitoring for an SAS server.
- The ideal candidate has advanced analysis, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing (might present to the SAS user group).
- Able to work well under pressure individually and as part of a team.
- Extensive knowledge of interpersonal skills/team building. Familiar with project management concepts.
- Work hours: Monday thru Friday 8:00-5:00 - plus potential overtime, on call, weekends
- There are six members of the BI team that currently support business objects and tableau.
- This is a collaborative group with a strong sense of teamwork and support. They are goal driven and a high trust team expecting each other to do their jobs well including reaching out with questions or seeking help as needed.

- Application administration for Base SAS server
- SAS Metadata Server
- SAS Office Analytics running on Windows Server
- Database Management Systems (DBMS): Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, etc.
- Programming Languages: Python (via SASPy), R, Java.
- 8 years of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
- OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
- OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 12 years without a degree)
