Scope of Work
The selected candidate will be assigned to the Office of Information Technology to support business unit functions by:
Documenting critical business processes.
Analyzing current operations for efficiency and improvement opportunities.
Assisting in process redesign, development, and testing.
Supporting business transformation and re-engineering of financial systems.
Acting as a subject matter expert on enterprise-scale applications handling complex financial processes.
Required Technical Skills & Proficiencies
Database Expertise: DB2 for z/OS or Oracle, SQL
Toolsets: CA Gen (web server, online, batch), CA Gen Com Proxy
Languages: COBOL, Classic ASP, VBScript, JavaScript
Platforms: IBM Z-Server, CICS, JCL
Development Tools: Microsoft Visual Studio / .NET (preferred)
Financial Systems: Proven experience in developing/maintaining systems for complex financial operations
Primary Responsibilities
Serve as a developer and SME for applications with complex financial logic.
Guide quality assurance across development life cycles from inception through production.
Mentor peers and provide hands-on development support.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and standardize processes.
Collaborate with distributed cross-functional teams for successful delivery.
Stay updated with trends and best practices in software development methodologies.
