Job Details
For one of our ongoing Long Term, Multi-Year project out of the Chicago-land area, we are looking for a Data Architect Strong in Google Cloud Platform, Data Architecture, Snowflake and Data vault.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and lead implementation of scalable and secure data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time pipelines.
- Define data standards, best practices, and architecture artifacts (data models, lineage, catalogs).
- Guide modernization initiatives, such as cloud data migration, data integration, and platform optimization.
- Lead the implementation of Master Data Management (MDM), metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and governance standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture and enterprise-level data strategy.
- Proficiency with data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical), data warehousing, and distributed data systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform), big data technologies, and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend).
- Deep knowledge of databases like Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, or BigQuery.
- Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation) and data cataloging solutions.
- Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and scripting in SQL or Python.
