Job Description
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Required Skills:
5+ years of professional iOS development experience
Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C
Deep understanding of iOS frameworks, design patterns, and best practices
Experience with Xcode, Interface Builder, and other relevant development tools
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, data serialization, and database interactions
Experience with offline data storage and synchronization

Preferred Skills:
Experience with government or regulatory compliance systems
Knowledge of food safety regulations and inspection processes

Principal Duties:
Application Maintenance and Support: Ensure the client iOS application remains fully functional according to the needs of the end users, up-to-date, and aligned with evolving iOS standards.
New Feature Development: Collaborate with client's Regulatory Division staff to identify areas for improvement and develop new features that enhance the application's functionality and user experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with both the Regulatory Division, and at times the State Lab, to gather requirements, understand workflows, and ensure the application effectively supports the end-to-end food safety inspection process.
Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous testing and debugging protocols to deliver a high-quality, reliable application.
Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of the application's codebase, features, and user guides.
User Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to client Regulatory Division staff on the effective use of the client iOS application.

***Remote position is available. Remote workers must always work within the U.S and part-time role- 20 hours/week***
