Job Description

ECS is seeking a Deputy Technical PM to work remotely .

ECS is seeking a highly qualified Deputy Program Manager to work remote. The selected candidate will be part of the Integrated Budget Documentation and Execution System (IDECS) multi-disciplinary team. This role is responsible for the seamless connection between our team and all stakeholders including other contract teams and the USAF government program management office personnel (AFLCMC) to ensure the maintainability, usability, and compliance of the application that is used to process the US Air and Space Force's budget justifications.

The Deputy Program Manager duties include but are not limited to:
  • Communicates across the team and with the government on project performance and status
  • Assists the Program Manager in leading a high performing team. Assists in the recruiting and hiring process
  • Maintain Jira and keep the team on track on sprints
  • Manage backlog items and coordinate requirements for sprint planning
  • Create and update project metrics
  • Create, coordinate, consolidate and present project deliverables to stakeholders including roadmaps and schedules
  • Update and develop reports on a routine basis including Monthly Status Report (MSR), weekly Functional Review Board (FRB) report development and status
  • Take meeting minutes and document action items for FRB and other client meetings
  • Writing and updating technical documentation such as interface design descriptions, user manuals, system documentation, and training materials
  • Assists in the ATO process ensuring our systems are within compliance
This role requires the candidate to successfully obtain a DoD public trust and a Common Access Card (CAC).

Salary Range: $100,000 - $105,000

  • Bachelor's degree in related IT field.
  • Federal consulting experience on a technical project.
  • Agile certified (CSM, SAFE, or other Agile certification)

  • Master's degree in an IT related field
