We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Reservoir Engineer to join our high-performing team in the energy industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of assets and be part of a team that is driving the future of the energy sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the exploration, development, and production of our reservoir assets. They will be responsible for integrating data analysis and economic modeling to optimize reservoir stimulation and asset development. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a strong background in the energy sector and a proven track record in reservoir engineering.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive data analysis and economic modeling to optimize reservoir stimulation and asset development.
2. Leverage Aries software and Spotfire for reservoir simulation and forecasting.
3. Perform exploration and production activities, including rate transient analysis and decline curve analysis.
4. Develop and implement strategies for maximizing the economic recovery of hydrocarbons.
5. Participate in multidisciplinary project teams to optimize field development.
6. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of corporate reserves and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
7. Provide technical expertise in the evaluation of potential acquisition and divestiture opportunities.
8. Collaborate with geoscientists, production engineers, and other team members to develop reservoir management strategies.
9. Regularly present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline. An advanced degree would be a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the energy industry.
3. Proficiency in Aries software, Spotfire, and other industry-standard software.
4. Strong understanding of rate transient analysis, decline curve analysis, and economic modeling.
5. Extensive knowledge of corporate reserves and the ability to integrate this knowledge into reservoir management strategies.
6. Proven experience in exploration and production, as well as asset development.
7. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present complex data to a range of audiences.
9. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
10. Strong commitment to safety, environmental protection, and continuous improvement.
