Drive Test Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Remote Drive Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting drive tests to evaluate and optimize wireless network performance, coverage, and quality across various locations. You will work remotely, coordinating with on-site teams and utilizing advanced testing tools to deliver accurate and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute drive tests to assess cellular network performance, coverage, and interference.

Operate and troubleshoot drive test equipment and software remotely.

Collect, analyze, and interpret drive test data to identify network issues and optimization opportunities.

Collaborate with network planning and optimization teams to recommend improvements.

Document test results, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures during testing.

Maintain and calibrate testing equipment as required.

Stay updated with the latest wireless standards, technologies, and testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Proven experience in drive testing, network optimization, or field engineering.

Familiarity with drive test tools and software (e.g., TEMS, Nemo, Anritsu, or similar).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

Excellent communication skills.

Knowledge of wireless technologies (4G, 5G, LTE, NR) is preferred.
