Job Title: Operations Manager (AML / Complaince)
Position Type: Fulltime
Location: NY/NJ (Onsite from Day 1, Hybrid Model)
Rate / Salary: $55/hr on W2 or a salary of $100k base plus benefits.
The Operations Manager will oversee daily business functions, optimize workflows, and ensure smooth internal operations. This role is critical for scaling the company s operations while maintaining high service delivery standards. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage cross-functional projects, improve internal processes, and enhance decision-making at the highest level.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted partner to the leadership team, helping to set and operationalize strategic priorities.
- Manage and improve internal business processes and operational workflows for the professional services group
- Develop and implement policies to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- Oversee operational initiatives, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business goals.
- Oversee project management efforts, ensuring timely delivery and execution.
- Coordinate with finance, HR, and technology teams to support business growth.
- Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to enhance scalability.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement process improvements.
- Manage key reporting, dashboards, and business metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and client expectations.
- Act as a key liaison between internal teams, external stakeholders, and partners.
- Lead vendor management and procurement activities.
- Support HR functions, including hiring, onboarding, and team development.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting efforts.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge Requirements:
7+ years of experience in operations, business management, or strategy (preferably in financial services, compliance, or consulting).
Proven track record of optimizing business processes and driving operational efficiency.
Experience with process automation, project management tools, and workflow optimization.
Job Description
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), Power BI, and Python (basic to intermediate) for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with SQL, VBA, or RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools is a plus.
- Experience with financial modeling, KPI tracking, and business intelligence tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
