PURPOSE:
The Network Services Manager is responsible for providing leadership to Client IT Network Services team with the goal of providing excellent support across the organization. They will provide oversight for 24x7 operations across Client environments. They are responsible for the management and maintenance of Client Cisco ACI SDN LAN/WAN routing and switching, Palo Alto firewall, and F5 load balancing systems. They will provide oversight for managed services partnerships to extend capabilities and service hours. They will be responsible for delivering ITIL Service Design, Service Transition and Service Operation lifecycle processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage, coach, and support Network Services team in a 24x7 environment
- Manage Network Services activities, respond to escalated issues, attend troubleshooting bridges, and interact with users to help resolve IT-related issues
- Develop RCAs and risk acceptance agreements. Drive continuous process improvement
- Manage production environments - driving consistent service delivery and operational excellence through the use of monitoring, automation and best practices
- Report SLA achievement and MSA compliance
- Establish strategies, priorities and plans for the Network Services team and forecast operational support needs to keep pace with business demands
- Support enterprise data center networks, corporate campus networks and cloud network infrastructure
- Identify opportunities for improved proactive monitoring of systems & applications and implement best processes
- Network Security Operations - In accordance with CLIENT Information Security guidance, oversee vulnerability & patch management, and secured/hardened image configuration efforts.
- Internal audit - In accordance with CLIENT Internal Audit guidance, oversee audit findings mitigations and remediations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in IT/IS or equivalent experience in IT Network Services required
- 5 years of management experience or 2 years of Program Management required
CERTIFICATIONS:
- Cisco CCNP certification preferred
- Palo Alto PCNSA certification preferred
- F5 Certified Technology Specialist or Certified Administrator preferred
