Seeking an experienced PHP Developer (Full Stack) for a hybrid, contract-to-hire opportunity in Walnut Creek, CA. This role offers the chance to design and develop enterprise-grade web applications and support both internal teams and external customers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using PHP (7.x/8.x), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
- Maintain and enhance existing systems, websites, and databases for high performance and reliability.
- Integrate REST and SOAP web services.
- Collaborate with Linux and Windows teams on deployments and infrastructure design.
- Translate business requirements into effective, maintainable code solutions.
- Perform debugging, code reviews, and optimization for performance improvements.
- Stay current on new technologies and recommend innovative solutions for future projects.
Qualifications
- 3 7 years of experience as an Application Developer or Software Engineer.
- Strong expertise with PHP (7.x/8.x) and the LAMP stack.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, and XML.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Dojo, or Ionic.
- Experience with mobile development (iOS, Android, Cordova) a plus.
- Familiarity with MySQL, MSSQL, or Sybase ASE databases.
- Source control experience (Subversion preferred).
- Knowledge of Linux system administration is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
