Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SailPoint IAM Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) solutions. This role will play a critical part in our identity governance and administration initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and security best practices. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in IAM and strong leadership in delivering complex enterprise-scale SailPoint deployments.


Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions in alignment with organizational security requirements and IT strategies.

IAM Strategy & Governance: Define identity lifecycle processes, access policies, role models, and governance frameworks.

Technical Implementation: Collaborate with engineers and business analysts to configure, customize, and deploy IIQ components such as workflows, rules, connectors, and certifications.

Security and Risk Assessment: Conduct assessments to identify identity-related risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and validate IAM controls.

Project Leadership: Lead IAM project delivery, including planning, resource coordination, and status reporting. Ensure timely delivery of milestones.

Policy and Documentation: Create and maintain system architecture diagrams, technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user training materials.

Cross-Platform Integration: Integrate IIQ / IdentityNow with identity sources such as Active Directory, LDAP, databases, and cloud applications (e.g., Azure AD, Workday, ServiceNow).

Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the internal advisor on SailPoint best practices, solution roadmap, and emerging IAM technologies.


Required Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum 8+ years in Identity and Access Management, with at least 5 years hands-on with SailPoint IdentityIQ.

Technical Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of IAM concepts: provisioning, certification, RBAC, SoD, PAM.
  • Strong skills in Java, XML, Beanshell, and web services for IIQ development and customization.
  • Experience integrating with platforms like Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD, ServiceNow, Workday.

Tools & Frameworks:

  • Familiarity with CyberArk, Okta, or other IAM/PAM tools is a plus.

Certifications:

  • SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Architect/Engineer (preferred). CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certifications (a plus).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Master s preferred.
