Job Details

Job Title: Automation Engineer
Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Job Responsibilities:
Participate in designing and implementing automation solutions for process control, supervisory control, automation recipes, and building management systems.
Recipe support for Cytiva Wonderware
Support building utilities and manufacturing equipment, integrating automation and business systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams and end users, making system adjustments and providing training to enhance operational performance.
Work with engineering firms, vendors, and contractors, contributing to acceptance testing and system startup validation.
Develop and update SOPs, recipes, and technical documentation for automation and digital systems, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Partner with Quality to investigate deviations, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement preventive/corrective actions.
Coordinate with IT to address network issues, manage data historians, and align automation systems with business processes.
Maintain IT/OT infrastructure, performing routine checks and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
Program and optimize automation equipment, adjusting control logic and refining recipes to meet evolving process requirements.
Revise network drawings, documenting system modifications and ensuring accuracy for future updates.

Requirements:
BS in Engineering or appropriate technical discipline
0-5 years of relevant Automation Engineering experience
Recipe support experience with Cytiva Wonderware
Experience with Veeva PI software
Available to work fully onsite in either Salt Lake City (preferred) or San Francisco
GMP experience
