The Finance Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and tracking of a program consisting of multiple Oracle Finance-related short-term, inter-related projects. Each project has a defined beginning, end, and specific deliverables. Work will be performed in accordance with the organization's Project Management Framework and its defined phases.

responsibilities:
- Define the scope of the program and associated projects in collaboration with senior Finance leadership
- Develop a detailed work plan with a team of project managers that outlines and sequences necessary activities; may also serve as a project manager
- Identify the resources (time, budget, equipment, etc.) needed to execute the program
- Create and maintain a consolidated schedule for the program to allocate resources effectively
- Present program and project schedules to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders; revise as needed
- Define the program objectives, intended benefits, and success metrics to evaluate performance at completion
- Oversee execution of the program according to approved project plans
- Develop and complete necessary documentation to track project activities
- Establish a document management structure to secure all program-related information
- Monitor program progress and implement adjustments as needed to ensure success
- Maintain a communications plan to provide updates to key stakeholders
- Conduct regular quality reviews with project teams to ensure deliverables meet standards
- May serve as a project manager with overlapping or non-overlapping project timelines
- Generate consolidated program reports for management and stakeholders
- Track project expenditures and maintain budget oversight
- Prepare cash flow projections and report actuals with variances to senior management
- Manage program funds in line with standard accounting practices
- Ensure financial records are current and accurate
- Ensure deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality
- Conduct program and project evaluations, including post-mortems
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required
- 7-10 years of relevant planning and/or management experience required
- PgMP, PMP, or similar certification highly preferred; CSM/ACP also desired
- Experience with contract negotiation, benchmarking, and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planview, Primavera) desired
- Proven experience managing full IT application development lifecycles
- Familiarity with waterfall methodology required; hybrid/agile experience preferred
- Experience managing merger and acquisition (M&A) projects preferred
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12 required
- Experience working in regulated environments preferred; FDA-regulated experience is a plus
- Prior supervisory and project manager mentoring experience required

- Deep knowledge of project/program methodologies (PMBOK, waterfall, agile/hybrid)
- Ability to manage multiple interrelated projects with overlapping timelines
- Strong planning, execution, and monitoring capabilities
2. Financial Systems & Process Knowledge
- Proficiency in Oracle Financials and financial systems
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting processes
3. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Experience supervising project teams and mentoring PMs
- Ability to influence, communicate with, and coordinate across senior leadership and cross-functional teams
4. Communication & Organizational Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation, reporting, and stakeholder updates effectively
5. Technical Proficiency
- Tools: Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Planview, Primavera
- Familiarity with database management, budget tracking, and document control
