Job Title: QA Engineer IBS Core Implementation
Location: Remote
Duration: Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with expertise in IBS Core implementation and conversion testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA automation and core banking system testing, particularly with FIS IBS (Integrated Banking System). This role involves ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and seamless functionality of IBS core conversions through comprehensive test planning, execution, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end QA testing for FIS IBS Core implementation and conversion projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to validate system functionality and conversion accuracy.
  • Conduct data validation, migration testing, and regression testing across multiple core banking modules.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and implementation teams to ensure requirements are fully tested and validated.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and re-testing.
  • Prepare detailed test cases, test plans, and test reports aligned with project timelines.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by providing defect triage, root cause analysis, and guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, best practices, and financial services regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of QA testing experience with a focus on core banking applications.
  • Proven hands-on experience with FIS IBS Core conversion testing.
  • Strong expertise in QA Automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of banking operations, data migration, and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience in preparing and executing test strategies, plans, and automation scripts.
  • Familiarity with SQL queries and data validation for conversion/migration testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with end-to-end IBS Core migration/implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
