Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Test lead. The Ideal candidates should have a software engineering background with a proven track record of performance

testing and engineering.

Responsibilities:

Define and create performance test strategies,

design test plans, scripts, and execution oversight.

Run performance tests, diagnose, isolate, and solve complex performance and

scalability issues.

Work directly with all the stakeholders, Engineers, Performance testers, Product

management, and DBAs.

Monitor and collect test results, and conduct root cause analysis of performance

issues and bottlenecks.

Evaluate the latest performance monitoring tools and make recommendations.

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing tools like JMeter, Blaze Meter, Locust, or similar tools.

Write Python code to customize supporting tools

SQL and Unix knowledge to work on test data needs/log analysis

In-depth knowledge and experience testing transactional, message-based, and web-based

applications.

Hands-on experience using monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Zabbix, and Splunk

Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies

Excellent communication, documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills

Self-starter and can work independently with minimal support.

Nice to have:

Experience in one or more programming languages, such as Java and/or Python

Familiar with Docker and/ or Kubernetes and Cloud concepts.
