Job Title: Project Analyst
Contract Duration: 6 months
Location: Rosemead, California | 100% Onsite
Pay Rate: $21.61 per hour
Job Description
The Analyst - Program/Project 1 will provide administrative and coordination support for project operations, ensuring effective communication, documentation, and tracking of project progress. This role involves supporting IT projects, assisting delivery managers, project managers, and scrum masters with reporting, dashboards, and milestone tracking.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Organize project operations and perform administrative/coordination functions.
- Track and report project milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues.
- Coordinate communication and information flow among project team members and stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation, files, and administrative systems.
- Support project managers in planning and executing projects, monitoring progress, and identifying risks/issues.
- Analyze project data, track metrics, and provide status reports.
- Recommend project management methods, tools, and best practices.
- Act as a resource for project team members on processes, systems, and day-to-day tasks.
- Develop presentations, dashboards, and visuals to communicate project status and technical details.
- Log and maintain project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Manage shifting workloads and priorities with minimal guidance.
- Assist with analyzing data, metrics, and KPIs to identify insights and trends.
Note: A core responsibility of this role includes safeguarding company assets (financial, physical, cybersecurity), as well as managing confidential customer and business data with the highest integrity.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor s degree required.
Experience:
- Minimum 1+ years of experience with project planning/tracking software.
- Experience with Smartsheet
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Teams, Excel, and Calendaring.
- Basic data analysis and reporting skills.
Preferred Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- entry level candidates with exposure to IT, data, or reporting coursework are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with project management best practices and software.
