Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst (BA) with expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter to join our team in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring seamless implementation, enhancement, and optimization of Guidewire solutions to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements for Guidewire ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter implementations.
- Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows to support Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Facilitate workshops with business users to refine workflows, prioritize requirements, and align solutions with business objectives.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing test plans, scripts, and facilitating testing sessions to validate functionality.
- Coordinate with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
- Provide subject matter expertise on claims processing, policy administration, and Guidewire out-of-the-box (OOTB) functionality.
- Analyze and validate data using SQL for reporting and integration purposes.
- Manage requirement traceability and track progress using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues during project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the P&C insurance domain.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter, including knowledge of OOTB features, configurations, and data models.
- Guidewire certifications (e.g., Guidewire Professional or ACE BA certification).
- Strong understanding of claims lifecycle, First Notice of Loss (FNOL), and policy administration processes.
- Proven expertise in requirement elicitation, documentation, and analysis techniques.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge business and technical teams.
Good-to-Have Qualifications:
- Knowledge of GhostDraft or similar document generation platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with third-party integrations and APIs (e.g., Postman, SOAP UI).
- Experience with other Guidewire modules (e.g., BillingCenter, Digital Portals).
- Certifications such as IIBA (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP) or Scrum Master/Product Owner (CSM, PSPO).

Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field preferred.
