Our Solutions team is seeking a seasoned Sr Audio Visual (AV) Support Technician for a project with our global media & entertainment client based in the Stamford CT area. We're looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in a corporate enterprise environment to support and maintain high-quality audio visual systems across our client's organization. This project will provide direct support for large-scale and virtual events, end-user assistance, and participation in strategic AV initiatives such as migrating from Cisco to Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR). Our ideal candidate will be technically proficient, customer-focused, and capable of delivering 5-star service with reliable AV experiences in fast-paced, high-demand setting. Prior experience in a broadcast or media environment would be a plus but not required.

Responsibilities
- Provide onsite technical support for large-scale events (100+ attendees) in multipurpose rooms.
- Ensure smooth execution of virtual-only events for remote participants and presenters.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource at the walk-up tech bar area, assisting users with AV and general technical issues.
- Collaborate with AV vendors during the Cisco to MTR conversion, supporting hardware transitions and installations.
- Conduct quality control checks on newly converted MTR rooms to ensure full functionality.
- Lead user training sessions to onboard staff to MTR systems and features.
- Set up, test, and maintain AV systems including VoIP, video conferencing, touch panels, and multimedia equipment (e.g., Cisco, Polycom, Crestron).
- Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 AV issues across conference rooms and event spaces.
- Document AV configurations and setups to ensure consistency and quality.
- Provide white-glove support to executive leadership and high-profile users.
- Support new room builds, AV installations, and equipment upgrades.
- Track and report AV equipment failures and coordinate replacements.
- Train users on AV system usage and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of service tickets and resolutions using ServiceNow (SNOW) or similar tools.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and changes to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with AV standards, security protocols, and company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional AV experience in a corporate or enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx, and other conferencing platforms.
- Strong knowledge of AV hardware and software, including Crestron, Polycom, Cisco, Extron, Biamp, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and AV system migrations.
- Familiarity with networked AV systems and signal flow troubleshooting.
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Willingness to provide on-site support, including after-hours or weekend availability for critical events.
Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $33-40/per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
