Tasks and Responsibilities: - Manage the planning, design, and construction of multiple projects, ensuring they meet safety, schedule, budget, scope, and quality standards.
- Facilitate team activities including chartering, problem-solving, and process improvement.
- Develop and submit detailed project plans, business cases, and justifications.
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors to ensure all commitments are met according to the scope of work.
- Monitor design and construction activities for compliance with contracts, industry codes, and quality standards.
- Develop and oversee startup & testing procedures for project commissioning.
- Train operating and maintenance personnel on new systems.
- Provide expert guidance to power generation operations and maintenance teams.
- Analyze project data and generate comprehensive reports.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor s Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience in power generation.
- Extensive project management experience, capable of managing large-scale, high-risk projects independently.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and practices.
- Proven ability to lead and train other project managers and team members.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff.
Preferred Qualifications: - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience in the power generation industry, particularly in overseeing plant infrastructure projects.
- Advanced ability to develop strategic project plans and presentations for senior management.
