About the Role
As a Software Engineer in this contingent role, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of data engineering solutions that support large-scale systems and business-critical applications. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve moderately complex engineering challenges and deliver high-quality, scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to support operational and analytical data workflows.
- Develop and optimize data solutions using SQL, SSIS, Python, Spark, and modern data pipelining tools.
- Architect cloud-native data pipelines and integrate with reporting and downstream applications.
- Apply strong understanding of data structures, Delta Lake, and cloud-based data storage to build scalable solutions.
- Analyze and resolve moderately complex software engineering problems by evaluating multiple variables and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with engineering best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with client teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in SQL, SSIS, Python, and Spark.
- Experience with cloud platforms, with a strong preference for Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Solid understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data pipeline design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
