What's in It for You?

Join us as a Senior Business Analyst and help bridge business needs with technological solutions. You'll work closely with business units to gain a deep understanding of strategy, services, and operations while identifying and documenting capabilities to solve key challenges. This role supports one specific project, initially scoped for 6 months, with potential for extension.

In this role, you'll analyze and improve end-to-end business processes, especially in the Workday space, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, mitigate HCM, financial, and technological risks, and enable long-term success. You may also lead small to mid-sized projects or serve as a BA on larger, complex initiatives across operational business functions impacting team members and providers at the market level.

Responsibilities

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of Information Systems, especially Workday, to guide solution development and execution.

  • Demonstrate expertise in Workday HCM and Finance, including data structures, relationships, data mapping/modeling, and integration with upstream/downstream systems.

  • Foster alignment between technology solutions and business needs.

  • Build and manage customer relationships through proactive communication (e.g., emails, newsletters, presentations).

  • Conduct and present project findings to varied audiences including senior management, technical teams, and customers.

  • Drive process design and analysis by identifying areas for improvement and recommending system enhancements.

  • Provide end-to-end support in implementing business solutions by engaging stakeholders, analyzing business needs, and executing on results.

  • Deliver project-level documentation such as business requirements, user stories, use cases, UAT plans, future state proposals, etc.

  • Gather and clearly document business, functional, non-functional, and system requirements.

  • Work closely with developers and testers to ensure proper implementation and validation of requirements.

  • Proactively identify inefficiencies, improvement opportunities, and customer satisfaction strategies.

  • Analyze and synthesize business patterns, conceptualize and differentiate processes.

  • Liaise between operations and IT to support system modifications and enhancements.

  • Ensure smooth data exchange and reporting relationships for payer/vendor partnerships at the market level.

  • Develop and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and execution.

  • Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.

Required Experience
  • 10+ years total experience, with:

    • 8+ years in a Senior Business Analyst role within the healthcare industry.

    • 3 5+ years of Workday experience with working knowledge of internal data structures.

    • 1 2+ years of ServiceNow experience (including CMDB, HR, and PPM modules).

  • Exposure to managed services and ability to support varied business analysis needs.

  • Strong expertise in requirements elicitation and user story documentation.

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.

  • Experience working on large-scale projects and handling day-to-day operational business requests.

  • Some project management experience and excellent communication/relationship-building skills.

  • Familiarity with indices, fundamentals, and analytical data, including returns-level data.

  • Proficiency in:

    • SQL and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.

    • Microsoft Visio for workflow documentation.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
  • Experience working on CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab.
