Robotics Controls Engineer

Job Description:
Robotics Controls Engineer
Location: Seattle, WA
Are you passionate about automation and robotics? Join our team and help shape the future of fulfillment centers! We're looking for a Robotics Controls Engineer to design, develop, and optimize control systems for advanced robotic solutions.
?What You'll Do
- Design and implement control systems for robotic applications.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams for seamless integration.
- Develop and maintain control algorithms using Codesys and PLC platforms.
- Test, debug, and optimize systems for high performance and reliability.
- Document designs, test plans, and user manuals.
- Provide technical support for production environments.
- Stay ahead of the curve with the latest in robotics and control engineering.
- Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
- 5+ years experience in motion control systems for robotics or industrial automation.
- Proficiency in C++, Codesys, PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
- Strong understanding of control theory, system dynamics, and feedback systems.
- Experience with Git and software development best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with real-time systems, robotics, sensors, embedded systems.
- Knowledge of functional safety standards (IEC 61131-3).
- Familiarity with EtherCAT protocols, HMI development, and system monitoring tools.
