Job Details

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and improving mechanical systems and components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity, product performance, and manufacturing feasibility.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).

  • Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis (FEA, CFD, etc.).

  • Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.

  • Conduct prototype testing and validation of new designs.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and cost-effectiveness.

  • Troubleshoot product issues and provide engineering solutions for production challenges.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and project planning.

  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master s preferred).

  • 2 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design or product development.

  • Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools.

  • Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.

  • Experience with FEA and/or CFD is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO).


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.

  • Familiarity with additive manufacturing/3D printing.

  • Exposure to IoT integration in mechanical systems (optional, depending on industry).

  • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
