Title: Finance Analyst

Location:Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract

Compensation
Pay Range:$51.94-$74.20/Hrs

Description
Join a team responsible for ensuring data used in key reports is timely, accurate, and properly controlled.
Drive strategic efforts to resolve data issues and implement data and process improvements.
Engage in analysis, design, data derivations, control design, and translation of business requirements.
Support audit/governance and process/design documentation.
Work under minimal supervision on projects requiring creative solutions under tight deadlines.
Improve data management functions for production, governance, change, and audit activities.
Manage relationships with diverse data partners and technology teams to support initiative work.

Key Responsibilities
Assume ownership of current data management controls across multiple finance products.
Analyze and troubleshoot issues in data layers to identify root causes and resolve them promptly.
Generate reports on data quality and validation shifts outside of normal thresholds.
Participate in the design, development, and implementation of future data controls.
Communicate control status and escalate issues according to defined processes.
Create and maintain documentation to ensure adherence to standards and requirements.
Collaborate with project management leads to provide updates on project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Advanced knowledge of general software including advanced functions to supplement data analysis skills.
Experience querying and analyzing large data sets using a generic type of database technology.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex data analysis.
Excellent communication skills with teammates and leadership.
Ability to work independently and lead in addressing issues.
