Starting salary is based on minimum education and years of experience and increases based on education and/or experience.

Overview:

We are seeking experienced Systems Engineers to join our team on a government contract. The ideal candidates will apply systems engineering principles throughout all phases of the system life cycle, including:

  • Concept

  • Development

  • Production

  • Utilization

  • Support

  • Retirement

Key responsibilities include interacting with government stakeholders to resolve technical issues, communicating with program staff and senior leadership, and ensuring the integrity and quality of all deliverables.

This is a unique opportunity to work on mission-critical government projects, delivering high-quality systems engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform systems engineering activities and prepare work products in accordance with ISO/IEC 15288 Technical Process Areas

  • Assist in the development of multiple work products in Project and/or Technical Process Areas

  • Support Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas per ISO/IEC 15288

  • Analyze technical alternatives and make preliminary recommendations

  • Develop and deliver work products across ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas

  • Lead or coordinate the work of other engineers or technicians

  • Analyze and recommend engineering standards and processes

  • Evaluate technologies for project suitability

  • Propose innovative solutions to technical challenges

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Systems Engineer Level 3:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus 6 years of systems engineering experience
    OR

  • High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of general systems engineering experience
    OR

  • Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus 4 years of experience
    OR

  • PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus 4 years of experience

Systems Engineer Level 4:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus 10 years of systems engineering experience
    OR

  • High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of general systems engineering experience
    OR

  • Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus 8 years of experience
    OR

  • PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus 8 years of experience
