CLOUD OPERATIONS ENGINEER

I have a full time opportunity for a Cloud Operations Engineer for one of our top tier investment banks in Midtown Manhattan. This role will monitor and maintain the cloud infrastructure for the organization in the IT Operations team.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

This role does come with a very generous base salary and employee benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure performance and availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues
• Automate cloud infrastructure deployment and configuration
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure security policies
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure monitoring and alerting systems
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure backup and disaster recovery plans
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure cost optimization strategies
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure automation and orchestration scripts
• Research and evaluate new cloud technologies and services
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure cloud infrastructure meets their needs
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation and best practices
