Role Summary
This mid-level project management position involves overseeing projects within a specific or multiple business segments, including coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders. The role requires managing project scope, schedule, and budget, with an emphasis on delivering solutions that align with organizational goals. It involves collaborating with various departments and ensuring project milestones are achieved efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects across one or two business segments, coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Develop and monitor project plans, including customization of standard processes and templates as needed.
- Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring adherence to established requirements and timelines.
- Identify potential issues early, escalate concerns appropriately, and collaborate on issue resolution strategies.
- Track project financials, including billing, cost analysis, and opportunities for revenue enhancement through value-added services.
- Collaborate with legal, procurement, and finance teams to manage contractual and budgeting responsibilities.
- Conduct conflict resolution and negotiate solutions among internal teams and external partners.
- Gather and estimate project sizing information, ensuring accurate resource allocation and delivery estimates.
- Monitor project performance and adjust plans to optimize productivity and reduce delivery costs.
- Support in maintaining compliance with organizational policies and process standards during project execution.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant project management experience.
- Proven ability to manage projects with moderate complexity, including cross-functional coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to maintain deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices, such as PMP certification or equivalent.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into understandable business language.
- Experience with M&A or business integrations is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in project management or related field.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Publishing Pay Range: $32.00 - $41.00 Hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
