We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Quality Manager to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a solid background in Quality Management to drive the quality agenda within a fast-paced, innovative environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of ASQ, IATF, Corrective Actions, Document Control, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company's Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements.
2. Effectively interact with Production and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products.
3. Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
4. Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
5. Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.
6. Assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and comparing with customer requirements.
7. Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business.
8. Making sure the company is working as effectively as possible to keep up with competitors.
9. Undertake regular internal and process audits of the QMS.
10. Ensure corrective actions are undertaken to address non-conformities found.
11. Verify closure of non-conformities with Certification Bodies.
12. Report clear and concise quality reports to the Management Team.
13. Manage and maintain the Company's quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes, and finished goods.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Quality Management within the Engineering industry.
3. Certified Quality Engineer (ASQ CQE, CMQ/OE) preferred.
4. Proven experience and knowledge of IATF 16949.
5. Demonstrated proficiency in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions.
6. Strong experience in Document Control.
7. Proficiency in Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA).
8. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
9. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
