Job Title: Epic HIM Analyst (Community Connect)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Epic HIM Analyst with strong Community Connect expertise to support build, configuration, workflows, and ongoing enhancements across HIM and Community Connect environments. The ideal candidate should have deep understanding of HIM modules, downstream workflows, data integrity, and implementation/support experience in Epic Community Connect settings.
Key Responsibilities
Provide analysis, design, build, and production support for Epic HIM modules.
Support Community Connect implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
Configure and optimize HIM workflows: chart correction, release of information, deficiency management, dictation/transcription, coding/abstracting.
Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Participate in end-to-end testing, validation, and go-live support.
Maintain system documentation, change requests, and configuration records.
Work closely with cross-functional Epic teams to ensure seamless Community Connect operations.
Ensure compliance with organizational and HIM regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Epic HIM Analyst.
Strong hands-on experience with Epic Community Connect implementations or support.
In-depth knowledge of HIM workflows (ROI, Coding, Deficiency Management, Chart Correction, etc.).
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Epic certification in HIM or related modules strongly preferred.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with multiple Epic environments and version upgrades.
Understanding of EHR integration and data flows.
Prior experience working with HCL or major healthcare consulting firms.
