ETL Developer and Support Engineer

Role: ETL Developer and Support Engineer

Location: Houston, TX

• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology
• At least 4 years of ETL tools like Matillion, informatica, DBT
• Knowledge on AWS Services GLUE, LAMBDA, S3, SQS, SNS

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to lead solution development and delivery for the design solutions.
• Knowledge in Service Oriented Architecture
• Relevant AWS development experience in enterprise level large scale multi-tier solutions that require complex Architectural decisions.
• Knowledge of architectural design patterns, performance tuning, database, and functional designs

Technical Skills:

• Integration Tools: Oracle warehouse builder
• Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript, JSON, XML, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, .NET
• Databases: Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle 11g, SQL Server
• API and Frameworks: API, REST web services
• Source Code Management : GIT, Bitbucket, Code Commit
• Good understanding of SDLC is a pre-requisite.
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate.
• Knowledge in Snowflake features like clustering , time travel, cloning, logical data warehouse, caching etc.
• Design dimensional model, data lake architecture, data vault on snowflake and used snowflake logical data warehouse for compute.
• Sound Knowledge with relational databases like MySQL, Oracle, SQL server and good knowledge of NoSQL data stores.
• Very strong in English communication -written and verbal.
