Job Title: Workday APPO SCM Consultant
Location: remote

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Workday Procurement (APPO) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) Consultant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of Workday Procurement modules including Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Supplier Accounts,
and Supplier Invoices as well as SCM processes such as inventory, asset tracking, and supplier management. This role involves gathering requirements,
designing and configuring Workday solutions, supporting integrations, and ensuring smooth procurement-to-pay operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the functional design, configuration, and deployment of Workday APPO and SCM modules.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for procurement and supply chain processes.
Configure business processes, approvals, supplier setups, categories, and procurement contracts in Workday.
Manage supplier onboarding, maintenance, and compliance in Workday.
Configure Requisition-to-Purchase Order workflows, receiving processes, and Supplier Invoice processing.
Work closely with integration teams for Workday-to-vendor system data exchange.
Support inventory and asset management configuration in Workday SCM.
Conduct unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing for Workday procurement and SCM functionality.
Develop custom Workday reports and dashboards for procurement, supplier spend, and inventory analytics.
Provide functional guidance to ensure best practices and compliance with procurement policies.
Deliver training and knowledge transfer to procurement and supply chain users.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years of Workday Procurement (APPO) functional experience; exposure to Workday SCM is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience in Requisition, Purchase Order, Supplier Invoice, and Supplier Account configuration.
Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Source-to-Settle processes.
Knowledge of Workday Business Process Framework (BPF), security setup, and reporting.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Workday Procurement or SCM certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in inventory and asset tracking within Workday SCM.
Knowledge of Workday Strategic Sourcing (Scout) platform.
Background in healthcare, manufacturing, or retail procurement environments.
Familiarity with multi-company, multi-currency Workday environments.

Education:

Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
Workday Procurement or SCM certification highly preferred.
