Senior BI engineer/lead

Job Title: Senior BI engineer/lead Location: Bethesda, Md

Required:

• Hands-on experience developing BI applications at an enterprise scale
• Experience in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos
• Hands-on experience in building complex semantic layers and data models
• Experience developing data applications and applications on AWS/Azure and Snowflake
• Implementation experience of Access Control in BI tools like PowerBI/Tableau, including Row-Level Security implementation experience
• Experience in performance tuning of Semantic Layer and PowerBI/Tableau Reports
• Strong ability to perform POCs and ability to give demos to the leadership
• Strong technical leader with proven ability to lead Service Provider technical resources
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Preferred:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Dremio
• Technology certifications in Snowflake and any BI tools
• Experience with Airflow, Python
• Experience in agile software methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate future data platform opportunities
• Technology leadership experience in a sourced environment
• AWS Solutions Architect or Developer certification
