Your Role

The Application Services team delivers all IT Pharmacy solutions to support Pharmacy Operations and Pharmacy Transformation. The DevOps Analyst, Senior will report to the IT Apps Pharmacy Development Senior Manager. In this role you will be the comprehensive subject matter expert in the technology products/platform feature space and apply, learn, and extend your skills beyond formal role boundaries. Having a desire to help achieve transformational healthcare improvement should serve as the inspiration behind the ideal candidate's willingness to participate across many different activities within an agile working model. Responsibilities

Your Work

In this role, you will:
  • Drive operational excellence, including but not limited to Incident Management, process automation leveraging AI, and ensuring smooth deployments for your technology products/platform features.
  • Provide analytical support and troubleshooting for application-related issues.
  • Work directly with the product stakeholders and/or technology product teams to understand the business domain.
  • Recommend the most efficient and cost-effective implementation, leveraging reusable features where possible
  • Understand, document, and communicate upstream/downstream dependencies supporting assigned development areas
  • Assist in creating, refining, and maintaining user stories and associated deliverables such as process flows and test cases to meet development and stakeholder needs.
  • Write acceptance criteria and ensure criteria comes to fruition during product demos.
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies (i.e., daily standup, sprint planning, retrospective, and demos), representing the needs and perspectives of your assigned development areas
  • Act as a proxy Product Manager/Scrum Master when necessary.
  • Ability to serve as DevOps Analyst for technology product line/platform feature team
  • Configure, develop (scripts, queries, reports), test, troubleshoot (system and application log interrogation), evaluate performance, and support (monitoring and impact remediation).
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and improvements.
  • Ensure security and compliance standards are met throughout the development and deployment process.
  • Lead the team in regular system audits and implement necessary updates and patches.

Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
  • Requires at least 5 years of directly related professional experience and deep technical abilities in one or more primary products, programs, or technologies.
  • Good oral and written communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders and technical counterparts
  • Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with development and operations teams to streamline the product delivery lifecycle.
  • Experience documenting agile workflows and processes.
  • Experience utilizing the Atlassian suite of products.
  • Requires basic technical knowledge and experience including adherence to architectural design, development standards, security policies, and sustainable design practices.
