Technical Skills Required
BTP Integration (BTP CPI, APIM) -
Projects: BTP, SAP Business AI, Cloud ALM, SAP Interface Management etc.
The client is seeking candidates with strong technical capabilities aligned with the specified skill set.
But also he/she needs to have strong experience with client and stakeholder management
Techno Functional- Managerial level approach, someone who can work in a global template and manage the deliverables
This role requires working closely with the customer and helping define the overall strategy
Role expectations are providing Solutionist or Strategist

Been part of ECC to S/4 Hana Implementation
Expectations / Deliverables for the Role
Connects the enterprise by defining reference integration patterns across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Produces reference integration architectures by leveraging expert input from application, data, platform, and security engineering teams. These architectures form the foundation for new integrations and digital solutions.
Continuously evolves integration standards to support changing business models and application landscapes.
Leverages SAP BTP, API Management, and Integration Suite to modernize connectivity and enable event-driven architectures.
Champions reuse and simplification to reduce custom interfaces and eliminate technical debt.
Defines and evolves integration KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to improve reliability and operational visibility.
Guides teams in selecting the right integration approach (API, event, batch, IDoc) for each use case.
Technical Proficiency
Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and event-based integration patterns.
Knowledge of hybrid integration landscapes spanning SAP and non-SAP systems.
Experience designing secure, scalable, and resilient integration architectures.
Understanding of monitoring, error handling, and operational support for integrations.
Familiarity with Clean Core aligned integration and extension approaches.
Soft Skills
Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance speed, quality, and long-term cost.
Clear communicator who can explain architecture choices, trade-offs, and cost impacts to stakeholders.
Collaborative individual who brings together multiple engineering teams to shape shared solutions.
Comfortable challenging designs constructively in ARB reviews
Acts as a trusted advisor / partner to other IS&T Teams
