Title- Power-BI Architect
Location- Remote
Duration- 6 month contract

Looking for a PowerBI Architect who can build PowerBI from the ground up for use again snowflake.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level data analytics solutions using Power BI and Snowflake.
- Architect and optimize data models in Snowflake to support Power BI reporting and analysis.
- Develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to meet business requirements.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and IT, to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on Power BI and Snowflake best practices.
- Optimize Power BI report performance and Snowflake query performance.
- Implement data security and access control measures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and data warehousing.
- Document data architectures, data flows, and development processes.
- Work with healthcare data, including claims, membership, provider, and clinical data.
- Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and ensure data privacy and security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development and administration.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with database design and optimization.
- Experience with data modeling techniques (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema).
- Experience with ETL processes and tools.
- Experience working with healthcare data (claims, membership, provider, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of health insurance industry business processes and data requirements.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and data privacy best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Power BI and/or Snowflake certifications.
