Job Description of IT Project Manager:
Reponsibilities:
- As a Federal IT Project Manager on our Federal Team, you will manage the direction and execution of federal client projects to deliver against project scope and objectives
- Plan and direct the work of the project team and cross-functional support teams for one or more projects
- Accountable for the development and maintenance of detailed project plans, schedules, and estimates, providing analytical and operational
- Provide guidance to the project team, and ensure client satisfaction for assigned projects
- Review and approve project team work to ensure adherence to scope, quality, and productivity expectations and implement additional processes or reviews as needed to address systemic or recurring issues
- Assess and report on identified and anticipated project risks and lead risk avoidance or mitigation strategies to minimize project impact, escalating to the task order owner as appropriate
- Lead internal and external project meetings, providing updates on progress against critical paths and milestones, key operational and financial measures, and risk assessments
- Engage and manage third-party resources as needed to support project objectives.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of total combined higher education and related work experience
- At least 3 years of project/program management work experience
- At least 7 years of higher education and / or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
- Due to the client contract, you will be assigned, this position requires you to

- PMP certified
