Implementation Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, finance, or related field, or equivalent technical training
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical role focused on data center technologies
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus platform switches and Arista switches; Arista CVP experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of BGP
• Automation experience required using Ansible; Python experience is a plus
• Unix or Linux background is a plus
• CCIE certification preferred
• Financial services experience (insurance, banking, investment banking) is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize workload and adapt to shifting deadlines
• Ability to work weekends as needed for migration activities
• Self-starter with strong leadership qualities, initiative, and accountability
• Focused on execution, delivery, and meeting committed timelines
• Ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment and make sound risk-based decisions
• Strong understanding of the big picture and alignment with business strategy and outcomes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both upward and laterally
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and technically strong
• Ability to collaborate and partner effectively with cross-functional teams
• Meet client-specific requirements while ensuring compatibility with existing IT infrastructure and systems
• Perform rigorous system testing to ensure stability, efficiency, and security prior to full-scale implementation
• Provide detailed documentation and standard operating procedures for implemented solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues efficiently and effectively
• Coordinate with project managers and team members to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Evaluate post-implementation system performance and provide ongoing optimization and support
