Good to have
- Strong scripting in Python, Bash, or Go for automation.
- Use of CloudWatch, X-Ray, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog for observability.
- Performance tuning and cost optimization of AWS resources.
- Implementing IAM roles/policies, encryption (KMS), VPC security, and network ACLs.
- Familiar with CIS benchmarks, SOC2, or HIPAA/PCI compliance if required by the industry.
- Building and managing pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS
- Proficiency with core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ECS/EKS, Route 53, etc.
- Designing scalable, secure, and highly available architectures.
- Experience in hybrid or multi-cloud environments
