Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong experience in Playwright automation testing and manual QA practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of web applications by writing robust test scripts, executing manual test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Microsoft Playwright for UI testing.
Execute manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data based on product requirements and specifications.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to identify test requirements.
Log, track, and manage defects in Jira or any defect management tool.
Ensure timely execution of test cycles and report on quality metrics.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Must-Have Skills:
3+ years of automation testing experience using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
2+ years of manual testing experience in a structured QA environment.
Strong understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Experience with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray.
Proficiency with bug tracking tools like Jira.
Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
