About the Role:

We are seeking a highly driven Electrical Engineer with a strong background in project management and power electronics systems testing within the automotive domain. This role demands hands-on experience in Design Verification (DV) and Product Validation (PV) processes and working knowledge of cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced engineering environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to develop and maintain Design Verification Plans and Reports (DVP&R) for power electronics systems.
  • Drive project execution to meet timelines, budgets, and performance targets, managing risks and resolving bottlenecks proactively.
  • Plan and manage outsourced testing activities, ensuring alignment with program milestones.
  • Collaborate closely with Prototype Builds, Global Supply Management, and external suppliers to source components and oversee build/manufacturing services.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including technical reports, test plans, validation results, and risk assessments.
  • Support verification and validation tests for power electronics systems to meet industry and safety standards.
  • Partner with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) teams to ensure lab safety protocols are followed and continuously improved.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  • Certifications: PMP Certification (mandatory).
  • Experience:
    • 3 5 years of total experience in engineering/project management roles.
    • Minimum 3 years of project management experience in the automotive industry, particularly related to power electronics testing and validation.
    • Strong exposure to DV/PV standards and hands-on testing practices.
  • Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or 3DX.
  • Lab Equipment: Familiarity with battery simulators, AC/DC power supplies, and electronic loads.
